RETURN POLICY

Investing in a piece of  fine jewellery is a big step.  At Helen Badge Jewellery we are confident that you will be pleased with your purchase, but if  you are not completely satisfied we guarantee a full refund.

 

If you would like to return an item, Andrea should be notified by email within five (5) days of its receipt.  You should then dispatch the item within two days (2) of notifying us.  As soon as we receive the item in the same condition as it was dispatched and in line with our return policy we will refund your money. It is possible to extend this return period if you are buying an engagement ring or Christmas gift. Please discuss with Andrea.

 

Australian and New Zealand customers should return items carefully packed and fully insured with Australia Post Express Post (or the NZ equivalent) to our Melbourne address.  Helen Badge Jewellery will reimburse the cost of returning the item.

Customers from the United Kingdom and United States, should return items carefully packed and fully insured with Royal Mail or Federal Express. Helen Badge Jewellery will reimburse the cost of returning the item.

Any import duty paid on an item will not be refunded.

DAMAGED or ALTERED ITEMS

Items must be returned in the same condition as you received them.  Damaged, broken or altered items will not be accepted for a refund.

 

QUALITY and CARE

At Helen Badge, we only sell items of high quality and it’s important that you are happy with your purchase.

We will give the same excellent after sales care that we provided in our Melbourne Little Collins Street shop.

We clearly label the age and the origin of our jewellery so you know as much about it as we do.  The provenance and history of a piece of jewellery is part of its unique character.

The condition of each item is noted in the ‘More Details’ page and Andrea is always more than happy to answer any questions.

Antique and Vintage jewellery does not look brand new.  That’s part of its charm.  The more care that is taken of it, the longer  that charm and elegance will last.

We recommend that you take rings off when doing the washing up and gardening – and thought is given at the time of purchase to how often it’s to be worn and whether it suits your lifestyle.  Andrea is happy to advise if you are unsure.

 

GRADING and VALUATIONS

To retain the items integrity, most Diamonds and Coloured stones in our rings have been measured and graded while in the settings and so are approximate. 

Grading can vary a lot between different appraisers and valuers – and is never exact – no matter how experienced the gemologist.

We provide independent valuations on all our rings.
