The details on the Scotty dog are just fabulous and he is in excellent condition – right down to his lovely shiny silver nose.
His original clasp is also nice and firm and in perfect condition.
Marcasite is polished iron pyrites – and has been used in jewellery since the late Victorian period.
It is 4cm long – nose to tail – and 3.5 cm high – ears to feet.
