What a fabulous antique gift for the golfing mad man or woman!
This is a gold putting iron stick pin with a natural seed pearl as the ball and hanging from the chain is the turquoise ‘hole’ and the mother of pearl shell ‘flag’.
It is beautifully made and has interesting European hallmarks that I haven’t got to the bottom of yet.
The Brits were playing golf throughout Queen Victoria’s reign but I believe this to be from around 1900.
The ‘Golf stick’ from top to bottom is 55mm and the chain hangs down another 30mm.
It is made from 15 carat gold.
