The Fern leaf motifs on the front of the locket are rose and yellow gold and are 3 dimensional and in perfect condition.
This is such a fabulous piece – and is dated from the hallmarks on the back to 1906.
In the Edwardian period, Ferns were often used as decoration on jewellery – and it was said they were a symbol of ‘love and sincerity’.
The locket is in perfect condition and still has its two frames intact inside – ready for photographs.
