I am up at 6am to head to Bermondsey Antique Market in London…. and for my wonderful late mother Helen Badge that would have been too late.

‘You have to get there as the dealers are setting up’ she would say as she was setting her alarm for 4am.

But for me – 6 is fine. I like it when the dealers have done a little ‘pre dealing’ and perhaps don’t quite know what they have picked up yet.

The day this photo was taken was a particularly lucky one… as I think you will agree with all my lovely ‘new arrivals’.
