Details
A fabulous piece of 'Love Jewellery' made very popular by the devotion shown between Queen Victoria and Prince Albert
after they married in 1840.
The hearts are made of paste to resemble amethyst and citrine stones, and are even more charming as they are a slightly different cut to each other.
The beautiful paste bow at the top could be a loop so the piece could also be worn as a pendant.
It is clearly stamped 935 silver (sterling silver is 925) so is most likely from France or Austria.
This is a great collectors item or a stunning present for someone close to your heart.
